Go for a swim and discover the mystical gorges of the Grand Canyon du Verdon.
Through our water hike with Ride The Verdon, you’ll experience the floating experience (letting yourself be carried by the current), as well as optional natural diving boards up to 10 meters high.

The most beautiful way to visit the grand canyon is to hike the Verdon! With our “Classic” formula, you’ll explore the deepest parts of the emerald-colored river.
The icing on the cake of this magnificent day is a swim through the dark halls of the “Imbut”. It’s an unforgettable experience as you follow the winding, capricious course of the river as it winds its way between giant boulders. The rapid of the l’Estelier will lead you to the narrow passage of the “Styx”, by the “Maugué”, to the final section of the Imbut chaos. Here, the most daredevil of climbers will find the highest jumps on the course !
To embark on this adventure, you need to :
- know how to swim
- be at least 14 years old
- be in good physical shape
- don’t be too afraid of heights (see video presentation)
- be ready to hike at the beginning and end of the activity

The Aqua Rando “Discovery” is the best way to discover the canyon for half a day.
Accompanied by a Ride The Verdon guide, you’ll take a swim-only route to enjoy a UNIQUE viewpoint from the entrance of the Verdon Gorge.
The “Discovery” route is less strenuous than the “Classic” and takes place over half a day, making it ideal for a family outing with young children.
On the way down, you’ll enjoy plenty of floating on wide stretches of calm water. You’ll also get a taste of whitewater thanks to a few rapids where you can try your hand at more thrills, and a few natural diving boards.
